Today's adventure took me from the sunny beaches of Mui Ne to the lesser-known city of Phan Rang-Tháp Chàm. I hit the jackpot with a hotel for just £8 a night—an absolute steal! Plus, I stocked up on everything I needed to keep my road trip to Hanoi rolling smoothly. After a long ride, I treated myself to some KFC, and let me tell you, the quality here in Vietnam blows the UK out of the water! It’s wild how much better it tastes and for way less money. On the road, navigating with my phone has been tricky, so I finally caved and got a pair of headphones for £5—a total game changer. After two days of roasting my hands under the unforgiving UV rays, I hunted down a solid pair of gloves. My first attempt ended with a ridiculous price tag, but then I stumbled upon the most charming market stall run by an elderly woman who restored my faith in humanity. I was so grateful, I ended up giving her double what she asked for! Phan Rang is such a cool, laid-back city that feels undiscovered. I might be the only Westerner here, but that’s what makes it even more special.
